Healing is an Art
Healing is an Art is the signature expressive arts program of Anchored Counseling and Consulting designed to support emotional expression, reflection, and growth through creative practices.
The Programming
Healing is an Art is offered as stand alone workshops or as a structured expressive arts curriculum built around six foundational modules. The program is flexible and can be adapted for a wide range of settings, populations (children and adults), and organizational needs. Each session is intentionally designed to create space for creativity and reflection, incorporating grounding or centering practices, guided creative expression, opportunities for reflection, and a closing activity to support integration.
The foundational modules introduce core expressive arts skills that support emotional regulation, narrative exploration, identity development, trauma-responsive reflection, and community connection. Organizations may also select from a library of supplemental modules, such as grief and loss, anxiety reduction, family connection, and more, to further tailor the programming to the needs of their population.
