REIKI AT ANCHORED
A quiet place to slow down and receive.
Reiki is a gentle practice — hands resting lightly on you or just above you — built around rest, energetic awareness, and giving your system somewhere to settle.
You stay fully clothed. There's nothing to perform. And you don't have to believe anything in particular for the session to be yours.

WHAT IS REIKI?
A restorative practice built around stillness and attention.
Reiki began in Japan and is usually described as an energy-based complementary practice.
During a session I place my hands lightly on or just above different areas of your body while you rest. I'm not diagnosing anything and I'm not treating a condition. What the session makes is space for stillness, for rest, and for whatever you notice while you're in it.
Reiki is complementary wellness support. It isn't medical or mental health treatment.
WHAT TO EXPECT
You can come in and exhale.
Arrive
We start with how you're feeling and anything you want me to know.

Settle in
You'll lie down, fully clothed, in whatever position is comfortable.

Receive
I work with light touch or with my hands just above you, depending on what you're comfortable with.

Notice
People experience this differently. You might feel deeply relaxed, or warm, or tingly, or emotional, or quiet, or just rested.

WHY PEOPLE COME
Sometimes you want support that asks less of you.

Rest and relaxation
A chance to slow down and step out of constant doing for a while.

Reconnection
Room to notice your body, your breath, and how you're actually feeling, without having to explain any of it.

Making room
A quiet container during stress, or a transition, or grief, or burnout, or any stretch when you just need somewhere to land.
